Chio Beauty Products

7:11 PM 0
Weeeee~~~~

I used to write diary of my daily life then technology came and I started to blogging influenced by my sis; just because idk where to express my mood my life my emotional my happy or sad. Slowly from normal my me me space of expressing become a place I post my yes and no like what I bought I used I seen I tried; all I put it on my blog just to share the good and bad. YES not only I blog good thing but bad thing, even you paid me to write or give me sponsor or free product I still write bad review if it is bad.

Then blogging era slowly going down and kicked out a bit by IGlogger (influencer instagrammer) and Vlogger (Youtuber); there’s when I slowly slow down on my writing, but anyway I’m not famous pun although I got quite some real brand asking me to write last time la like few years back gua.

And now my blog is just a blog where I wanna write what I want to write. I instagram more cause of the conveniences to upload everything by a click or maybe fewer clicks la and now I blog using only my iPhone.

Anyway, I was trying to update my blog of what I bought recent cause it is too cute to not posting it!! If you followed my IG you should have saw it already. Btw I privated my IG just because some incident happened since early 2018 till mid of 2019, my worst nightmare and depressed time; I feel like writing everything on my blog but not now, see when I have the feeling of getting everything off. Anyway…

Taaaadaaaa~~~~~

My impulsive Korea haul again but I’m don’t have to go Korea to get it, this is why I hate internet. #Fyouinternet.

Anyway from left to right (fyi, price below are reseller price. You can get cheaper if you’re in Korea);

1. YNM - Hand cream RM45
2. d’Alba - White Truffle 1st Spray Serum RM65
3. Dr.Mediheal - Eye cream RM78

I tried on a bit once I opened the parcel and I just got the parcel like just now!!! LOL ganjeong type

1. YNM - Hand cream

The texture is slight more melted compare to normal tube hand cream. Tube one is like more thicker and creamier but YNM one is more watery but a bit creamy; how should I put it?!? Hmmm is like gel but in cream form? Aiya dk la

This hand cream come in 2 color white (natural mild scent) & pink (florist sweet scent); I don’t like sweet scent like Gucci so I pick white bottle and the smell is quite mild but refreshing and quite long lasting just like how the seller describe, slightly to Jo Malone.

The absorption is like very fast, some hand cream you have to like keep rubbing it pat it till absorb totally but YNM one nope you don’t have to, once you spread it you will release it already starting absorbing. Best thing is no sticky or oily after applied, quite a good products.

2. d’Alba - White Truffle First Spray Serum

So this is like my first time experience sprayed on serum, the first sight I thought the yellow layer was real lemon but then only I realise is actually essence oil.

It was stated it can help fix your makeup, let your makeup stay whole day and hydrate your skin. Not sure if it is really that power. The spray mist was so thin like very very thin. It look big droplet on my hand cause I spray very close and I pumped twice too kiasu.

The smell is like some sort of oil not like any other serum have very good nice perfumes smell or sour scent. But the absorbing power is like real fast I pat awhile its all goon, either my skin is too dry or idk what else can it be. hahaha

3. Dr. Mediheal - Eye cream

You know why I bought this? Because the bottle look so mermaid and it is gel form of eye cream. If you know me; I don’t really do those 5-7steps of skincare thingy like two times cleansing > toner > moisturiser > serum > face mist; kind of female. I will just wash my face then apply Aloe Vera gel then face mist if I feel not enough. So their eye cream is in gel form and can apply on whole face, super suit me lazy people. And it come with 60 sachets of travel pack, sound so aunty. hahahahah

The smell and texture is totally similar to my aloe vera gel just the different of Dr Mediheal eye cream is more lighter and more watery compare to Nature Republic aloe vera. Oh the absorption is so good like apply pat awhile then all go into your skin, compare NP aloe gel it take longer time to go into my skin and it have this after texture of layer of matte texture on my skin but Dr Mediheal gel won’t, you feel like nothing was applied.

If you’re going Korea soon, can go grab one and try it I believe the price will be much more cheaper compare mine. Dr. Mediheal brand are quite well known for their mask, you can grab few pieces and try it while you’re in Korea before buying a bunch without even trying it. They have an outlet in MyeongDong.

That’s all #OkayThanksBye for reading my boring review and nonsense.

Chun-Ciou Hot Pot [Review]

9:44 AM 0
I think most of you should already know Chun-Ciou Hot Pot, it located road side along Old Klang Road to Mid Valley can easily spotted.

The interior was big and comfortable, cause the table to table wasn't close and big space to walk around without banging other chair or tables.

The meat are served on a hanging tray with dry ice for the smoky effect but only for the first tray, after that it will be served on normal plate. So remember to take IG stories, boomerang or picture before run out of smoke.

Just like any other hot pot restuarant; mix your own sauces and raw eggs for your hot meat!

Do call for reservation, we went on Tuesday and it is fully. Contact as above picture;
  • Monday to Thursday (reservation available)
  • No reservation needed after 10:30PM
  • Friday to Sunday & Public Holiday; only Walk-in

Choose your soup and order using tablet; We order spicy ma lat and clear soup. Seriously not impressive at all cause not spicy and not really nice also. The sauces are normal sauces and nothing special.
This is how it will look like after the first served. Their service are really really slow, we have to keep asking to add soup and they serve or foods super slow. Normally after hot pot buffet should have super satisfaction but after we done eating not really satisfying at all.

But their seafood quite fresh and the tang yuan(glutinous balls), it might sound weird to cook tang yuan in salty soup but really quite nice. Other than that, I can't find any other reason to come for another round.

You can try but I don't feel worth trying as their price are quite pricey compare other hot pot buffet.

Fatt Kee Roast Fish - Pudu

11:59 PM 0
I seldom treat my family for dinner *benefit of being the youngest daughter*, so out of a blue moon I booked a table and dated my family for dinner. We did post it on our FB and IG, a lot of people keep on pm us asking where it is and how much it is. This is why I'm back blogging about it, just my 10 cents opinion please don't slash me!
So i have no idea what to eat cause it is hard to like make everyone happy and my sis suggested Fatt Kee Roast Fish in Pudu, my family are all seafood lover so.....
Seafood pot蒸籠宴; can feed up to 13-15pax. Price; RM1188 only the pot not include rice or drinks. You have to order in advance and pay RM700 deposit.

What in it; Mud crab, river prawn, 2 type of prawn, 2 type of clam aka lala, abalone, scallop, mussel, squid, corn, brocolli, black fungus and some veggies.
But owner said they couldn't get any mud crab that day so they replaced lobster instead and my family dont really like lobster they prefer crab! He should have told me earlier so that I know about the crab and lobster replacement, my dad and sis was so disappointed as they were expecting for crab.
Anyway, we still finished everything and super full!! If you ask me to rate, it will be 2.5/5. Not gonna come again for the pot cause not worth it and not cheap pun.
Some of the dishes was so salty and you have to eat with rice, seafood wise some fresh some just so so. The lobster is super not fresh. Their service are quite bad, we waved for them and they are like all blind, our table was in the mid of their restaurant and yet no one layan us.

Total damage included rice and drinks ; RM1280.

I would not recommend or not going to stop you, can try just not worth the price but can feed your instagram lah. Quite hard to get parking and quite full on the day we go *sunday*.

It supposed to look like this but what we get is different, proof of photo is for illustration purposes.

Bukku Cafe

4:12 PM 0
Hellooooooo long abandoned bloggy and invisible reader if la I really got reader or viewer. Hahahaha sad and pathetic Frk!

Anyway, quick and short post. Last weekend went to Klang just to visit this small and cozy cafe in middle of very new area in Klang, Bukku Cafe.
The cafe itself is quite small but they have 2 floor and outdoor area. If you’re an instagram feeder, this cafe is the right place.

I got myself a flat white and Matcha croissant, Mr C got himself a black coffee.
Their coffee just coffee if you ask me nothing to hype off. But I love their cutlery minimalist style and clean.

The croissant is daboom!!! Very nice not too sweet just right and the croissant is very crispy on the outer and soft in the inside. The match sauce surprised me, if I’m back to Bukku I definitely will order again.

Coffee rating : 2.5/5
Croissant rating : 5/5

We were there for brunch and our brunch; Big breakfast & beef burger and very disappointed.
Looking at the picture I’m sure you know what I mean right!?

The sunny side is already enough to disappoint me, why got crust on the edge and not those soft type?!? And quite oily see the yellowish liquid on it? That’s cooking oil it is cooking oil. The beef sausages is so Ayamas if you get what I mean and why is the sausages come with wrinkles LOL?! This is not pan fry but deep fry or too much oil while fying? Idk

I’m expecting for special sausages or maybe German sausage?! Why?! Ayamas Why? and quite hard and chewy if you know what I mean. The tomatoes super oily and only pan fried on the from the back of the tomato was raw but it is okay not big deal. Sweet potatoes somehow idk feel like not very matching the whole breakfast.

But the softdough nice really nice.

As for Mr C burger not appetizing at all, the bun is already soaky and not fluffy. The patty is not cook when order type but I think is it those packed patty form supermarket? Cause no texture and very very very chewable and hard, like frozen meat.

Foods rating : 2/5 or maybe 1.5/5 (cause feel like eating at home)

You might be curious why I uploaded this picture, not because it look nice or what but see below picture.
Taaadaaaa, we had unwanted or uninvited guest joining out table.

The plantation at the window is not being treated well, it have worm and ants and some idk what it is white stuff. Really disgusting you know and the ants keep coming toward my drink and even enjoying my cookie.

My suggestion to Bukku if you can’t take care of nature plant then use fake plant or the dragon seed plan which selling at many supermarket kiosk, 1 pot cost around RM25. Because it is so unpleasant when you come to enjoy you meal and suddenly a lot of “guest” joining us.

Environment rating : 3.5/5 (should have given 5/5 but the plant and ants and worms I really cannot.)
Services rating : 4/5 (-1 cause when we came into cafe all the staff is at the counter and Mr C asked twice we order here? But no one layan us)

Overall for Bukku Cafe; place is really instagrammable, cozy, comfortable and not hot. If weather is good I think outdoor will be more nice to take some shot. Food wise normal except for the croissant, coffee is just coffee not really wow to me.

If you ask me will I revisit my answer will be yes and no. Yes only for croissant.

Operation hours : 830am to 2230pm daily.

Address : No 1, Jalan Singgahansana, 4A/KU2, Klang.

Okay goodbye signing off.
